In the South Island, of New Zealand is the famous mountain, Cornet Peak. It’s on the shores of Lake Wakatipu

Remarkables
The Remarkables lies within sight of the Coronet Peak resort. The mountain is higher in altitude than Coronet Peak and rockier. The Remarkables is less busy than Cornet Peak and also has some fantastic powder days. It is a mountain for the more advanced and adventurous skier or snowboarder. The Homeward runs are the place to shred some deep powder where you can ride some long floating turns with an amazing backdrop. The Homewards take you right down to the access road to catch the shuttle bus back to the base building in order to do the whole thing again. The runs here are accessed by three chairlifts.
